But I will say this the material on the handle came loose along with the bottom piece that holds it together and the Sagieo came loose as well, But I redid it my self and it looks more awesome now I love my katana

The sword is a darker blue than it looks and so is the scabbard however. The scabbard is about the color of the sword in the photo and the sword is very dark. Almost black. Both look very nice though. Sword is straight and it is sharp. Pretty decent balance. I'd say for the price you really won't beat it. Pretty fast shipping as well. Believe I got it in about 11 days. I'm not gonna say there aren't better but for a first sword or practice sword at this price I don't see you getting anything better. Metal seams to hold its edge good but I haven't done enough testing yet for that.

Everything is good and tight but the bottom of the handle is a little loose and the blade could be a little sharper, but overall I like it a lot and you get what you pay for so get something in mind for yourself if you want something better, but it's a different sword than the katana and shorter movements or easier to move. The handle is good and tight but there is a little gap on one side of the handle that looks rushed to be finished and also the bottom butt of the handle is loose. Over all I think it's great for what it's worth

What can I say. I will start off by saying the sword is nice. What I expected. The sheath was broken when I received it. The shipping box looked OK. I tried getting hold of the company. They do not answer their phone. It is always busy. I have sent 4 emails. Still have not heard back. So the sword is Good. Their costumer service sucks. I was thinking of buying another sword but with their costumer service I probably will not order another one.

My favorite part about the katana is the clay tempered pattern. It has a unique look to it. Also, it feel like a solid and durable sword so far. I haven't cut anything with it yet to test the sharpness of the blade, but I was able to return the katana back to the sheath very smoothly and I was pleased with that.
