This katana is now my favorite and I've bought over 7 from TK ,the reason is it's special blade geometry which makes it very light and fast with one hand. The hamon and polish are impeccable and the blade a beaty.The other reason is the fit and finish is flawless and especially love the fit of the Saya and its elegant silk string. Wanted to take this opportunity to recommend the t10 folded naginata's I've included, these have the same blade geometry as katana reviewed (which also makes them light)they are 1 3/8" tall the whole way through the blade(which is the same length)opposed to a 11/4" tapering to 1". These naginata's are bigger and badder ,you won't be sorry you picked one up.

So this was a good blade for the price. The sayia is loose but gorilla glue couldn't fix. As for the rest of the sword.
Hamon line isn't a real hammon for T10, but it is there'ish. It will cut but it being dojo ready without a bit of maintenance, it'll get there.

Love the sword. The blade, Saya, and ito all have excellent craftsmanship. My only issue was that one of the fittings as well as the sageo wrap was loose. Other than that can not complain. Worth the money.

This is a queen bed, you have an idea of how long it is. It is very very sharp so be careful! It is very elegant, heavy..4pounds maybe. Well balance.

Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.

It came in within a week, the blade was so sharp I accidently cut my finger testing it. Quality is okay for the price, visually it looks good and if you take care of it should last a long time.

What can I say. I will start off by saying the sword is nice. What I expected. The sheath was broken when I received it. The shipping box looked OK. I tried getting hold of the company. They do not answer their phone. It is always busy. I have sent 4 emails. Still have not heard back. So the sword is Good. Their costumer service sucks. I was thinking of buying another sword but with their costumer service I probably will not order another one.

This sword is absolutely beautiful and solidly constructed. The leather wrapping of the saya is nice and tight, grip is wrapped well, and the tsuba is solid. T10 carbon steel is great quality for the price and the blade is nice and sharp. I’m very happy with my purchase.

It is a gorgeous blade everything about it is beautiful only thing is the tsuba is very loose i took apart tried fixing but still gets loose when you pull out out of the sheath. The one Katana was nice, the green one the other one (orange) looked a bit on the cheap side like a fake Katana. I collect Katanas and wanted to see what Truekatna had to offer. I'm sure many are not so fake looking and feeling but it seems to be taking a guess at it. I'm collect these swords and have for years, so I have a good ideal of what a nice one should look like even one that is inexpensive.
