Man this thing is beautifully made! This is my first True Katana. I have hade my eyes on this one for a while and it is awe-inspiring to hold. It brings me comfort having it.

However, I attempted to purchase a 2nd one and your system would not accept my visa debit card this time ~ your sales team said I had to use PayPal..

The sword arrived as scheduled, which was pretty darn fast. The boxing, padding, and Styrofoam kept everything snug for shipping. No dings or marring on any pieces.
As for the sword itself, it's a well balanced, sharp, and overall aesthetically pleasing to look at. Absolutely gorgeous!
I was somewhat baffled by the accompanying literature of do's and don't's. It cautioned to not take the katana apart. That was one of the things that I was looking forward to with my first real katana. I've owned a ninjato and currently have a cheaper non full tang katana that's glued together, which I can't take apart. Be that as it may, I am still extremely pleased with the katana.

Besides some issues I had with the habaki and Tsuba being loose Its a wonderful blade. Not razor sharp but sharp enough to give me a nasty cut with some poor handling.

Box was a bit beat up. Blade was a little dirty with some black particles that seem to come from the sheath. Good sword for the most part. ITO is somewhat loose, and ray skin seems fake. But I still enjoy it.

The blade itself is sturdy and has a good weight to it. The handle is wrapped in high quality material, and is pinned into the blade well. The tsuba is decent, with a little bit of inconsistency in the gold shine on the flower design. The saya is made of real wood, so make sure not to over-oil the blade. The whole piece looks and feels amazing, and I'm immensely satisfied with my purchase.
