Resulting in a cutting edge that is extremely hard and a spine that is durable and flexible. These blades of tempered steel are tough enough to withstand the stress of battle, providing improved shock absorption.
Sword over all is great quality for the price. Super sharp, beautifully crafted.
However the saya (sheath) is much brighter than it looks on the site, almost like glitter. I was expecting a more forest green.
All in all very satisfied.
