First, I was surprised at how fast it came, less than a week. The wood is rich in color, very smooth, excellent quality. I had ordered the same style sword from another company and the wood was bass wood. It’s a soft wood, the sword falls out of its wooden sheath on its own!!
So I was quite impressed with the construction of this sword from True Katana. It was exactly what I was looking for.
