But I will say this the material on the handle came loose along with the bottom piece that holds it together and the Sagieo came loose as well, But I redid it my self and it looks more awesome now I love my katana

Awesome High Quality Sword for the money. Packaged very well and arrived on time. It's a Christmas present for my son so I only took it out of the box to inspect it. The handle and blade are both sealed in plastic so could not feel either one. I did see the blade has be wrapped in oil I was impressed by that. This blade is of the construction Kamasu-Kissaki (straight edged tip), but TrueKatana do not explain this. That blade style is the reason why I purchased it, which is rare to find on the internet. I named it Zyro. I enjoy taking its tempered blade under the sun, showing its very unique Noi pattern.
