This one is a great find. Beautiful build quality and also very affordable. It caught my eye emediately on the website, ordered it and when it arrived in almost less than a week I was not disappointed. The weight of it is awesome, really feels strong in hand. The sleek simple bamboo design is top notch also . This sword took me back to my days in Okinawa, Japan thanks True Katana! When it arrived there was a couple cracks in my scabbard causing it to release a little loosely but I addressed it with TrueKatana Customer service and they sent me a new scabbard free of charge! Best customer service ever! Sent an email with a couple pictures and Fiona responded promptly within 24 hrs. Very pleased with the TrueKatana brand so far! Looking forward to my next purchase. I got it on sale but some issues may indicate why it was on sale.
Cons:
Blade was bent and wavy ( not straight)

the grinds were a little heavy on some places showing little hot spots.

The Hamon was very prominent in photos but very faint in person.

Pros:
Blade is very sharp and although faint, the Hamon looks much better than a fake hamon.

Woodworking (and wood) vas very nice

Fitting was very nice and tight (handle ,and sword to sheath)

Overall it's ok for the "sale" price, but as is I would not pay full price again for the same piece that I recieved.

I am reviewing only 1 piece and this does not reflect True Katana's Overall product .

Is a great sword.
Got drunk buzzed one knight and watched Kill Bill, specifically one with the Chinese Jap-American girl as the antagonist in the Chapter, wanted to buy a sword like hers; ended up doing that the next day and waited awhile.

Got it and I’m not disappointed; has a good weight and feel to it, the sheath is beautiful, and not only that the blade is pseudo-sharp. If you want it to be sharp, you’ll have to do it yourself or get it professionally sharpened, which is understandable, because if you’re committed to it, you wouldn’t mind sharpening it.

Just remember to buy Sword Oil for it, protection from corrosion is PARAMOUNT.
