Nice solid blade. Arrived quite sharp and with a bit of oil applied which is nice. Only flaw is the blade fits quite tightly into the shirasaya (scabbard) right at the tsuba but nothing a bit of light sanding won't fix (which i plan to do). Nice beginner iadio training blade, it also looks beautiful in person.

Everything on the Katana was tight, Ito wrap, the fittings, tsuba, habaki. The blade does NOT wable. Heavy duty T10, for ridged durability, and a shape and elegant taper for the blade profile. Made for an excellent bamboo cutting sword.
The blade after cutting bamboo after bamboo, (28 stalks) had preformed above my expectations. It showed no signs of chipping, wearing, or anything that would affect the blade and make it go to failure.
It was right out of the box sharp and choji oiled.
I highly recommend this katana, a very skilled craftsman had assembled and forged this T10 blade. The Hamon is absolutely perfect and authentic.
Despite the reviews on Reddit, I was a little weary of dropping that cash on a sword like this, but it is for sure worth it.
I only hope that every katana on this site is assembled, forged with such skill and pride. For a Chinese sword made with Japanese traditional smithing, I can safely say that the katana you might be looking at is worth it.

Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.

It came in within a week, the blade was so sharp I accidently cut my finger testing it. Quality is okay for the price, visually it looks good and if you take care of it should last a long time.

The sword lived up to its expectations. It’s a gift for my brother’s 40th birthday, so I can’t really show you a picture of me wielding it because it’s not mine. However, me and my father gave a sneak peek test run of the sword and it is damn good of a sword. Very sturdy and I like the fact that it has some weight to it. Great looking blade! Love the all black look. The Biohazard symbol on the Saya isn’t orange in case you were wondering. It looks it on the website. Came very sharp. All fittings were very snug and there is no wiggle. I do plan to have this professionally sharpened. Blade is facing down in my pic for pic purposes only that’s not how I keep it.
