The sword is beautiful. I bought two swords on Amazon and they both broke within a week. My son (who is into Katana Swords) was devastated. This sword is built so much better and it’s very sleek. He’s only 6 so he’s not allowed to touch it without Mommy or Daddy right next to him. I’m teaching him to respect the sword and to understand it’s a very powerful weapon. We love it. An absolutely beautiful sword. The only issues are with the scabard. The wooden notch on the side was broken off when I received it. I'm also not sure if it was the sword or the scabbard, but it is incredibly difficult to unsheathed the katana.

I really love this sword, and was very satisfied with the whole delivery process as well. If I had to mention any minor complaints or details , the gold plating was missing a spot on the tsuba, and the the saya had and ultra tight fit. I was able modify the opening of the saya with a handheld rotary tool, brushed out all the wooden dust, and now it's perfect. Would most definitely buy again from your store. Thank you.

It is exactly what you would expect for a sword in it's price range. It's heavy, came with an edge I could run my hands on, and feels like a cheaper sword. It is very pretty, but I can't say it's a very functional sword. I am not happy with it other than it looks pretty on my wall. I question the hardness of the steel because it would not take or hold and edge, and when cutting wet newspaper rolls recieved a roll twords the tip of the blade. Overall its okay for its price, but if you want a functional sword for cutting...keep looking.
