This set, however, is of curious origins. The blades look amazing as always, a deep blue with an almost purple hue in the light. The Sakura tattoo on the blade and habaki add a classy touch and the engraved blossom on the scabbard is very eye catching and well done.r
However, the katana only has one mekugi peg so I worry about how full the tang is. It feels solid enough, but the habaki was also loose when I got it, and had to be fixed with a spacer... it seems like a corner or 2 was cut with the katana but again, great looking blade. The grip wrapping feels old, like maybe it's been in a warehouse for a while. Not bad, just not the greatest sword I've gotten from truekatana...r

Love everything about it except for the blade is not sharp enough to cut or slice a small piece of the cards were container it came in would have been nice if it was completely sharpened it is one of the reasons I bought it mainly for a souvenir display I thought the stand might come with it it's not a big deal will order one other than that nice stay!!

Beautiful sword! Love everything about it, except for the chips of paint that were showing the silver metal beneath it upon me opening it up. I hate that I can’t post more than one photo since the tip of the blade and a few cm below it are also chipped spots. But everything else I love!

As someone who never owned a sword, my initial impressions were blown away upon delivery. My only issue with the handle itself is that the Tsuba & Habaki don’t match the picture. The 4stars in my review are from the fact TrueKatana was also EXTREMELY communicative & responded to my emails swiftly during the shipping process. All in all, I’d buy again!
