Honest feedback: My first ever katana. Beautiful craftsmanship. Does look exactly like the image online, and an intense feeling of caution and anxiety occurs when I unsheathe the blade. Hilarious, but highly important instruction/liability manual......DO NOT LICK THE BLADE. DO NOT CHOP VEGETABLES WITH THE BLADE. I can only image some of the cases.

The quality of the sword is really nice for the price. The shipping costs were unknown until after the purchase, which would have been nicer to know beforehand. Authentic Japanese Katana Sword T10 Folded Clay Tempered Steel Real Hamon TK-JP-KT19135 . I am very pleased with the quality of this sword. Everything fits nice and tight, there is no blade rattle once in saya. The Tsuba (Guard) and Kashira (pommel) show no casting imperfections. The Tsuka ito (Cord Warp) is the best I have felt. All parts are of quality. Although I haven't used it Tameshigiri (test cutting), I expect the blade to perform well. Small negatives - first, be in no hurry to receive the sword...3.5 weeks for me. Second, the list of "Do not ...." with this sword seems excessive and sometimes humorous.

The katana sword looks like it is well made and has a nice feel. However, the Saya (Scabbard) does not fit properly over the katana sword. The Saya does not lock into place as it should and will slide right off the sword. I'm a little bit disappointed in the workmanship quality of the Saya.

Jury is still out. Fit and finish looks and feels good. Handle is wrapped tight, and nothing is loose yet. The scabbard is junk. Wood shavings are always on the blade. Blade cuts into the scabbard easily. The blade rattles around in the scabbard. The finish on the scabbard is amazing. The matte finish feels great and is easy to hold. The blue is very deep and looks amazing.
