Packaging is terrible. It comes in a taped up Styrofoam container instead of a wooden or cardboard box. Its from China, but that's expected.r

The katana itself is decent and sharp.r
The outer finish on the saya is nice and looks exactly like the pictures.r

However, it was extremely hard to remove the katana from the saya, due to the habaki area getting stuck. I ended up having to lightly sand down the koiguchi area once I eventually got the katana out of the saya.r

Moreover, the blade rattles in the saya, which I'm not sure how I'm going to fix yet.

I fell in love with my katana as soon as I saw and held it in my hands. I live in New Zealand so was expecting it to take awhile to arrive. But when it came in the mail within 7 days I was so happy . Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.
